I have a thing for in-home sessions, and when you add motherhood into the mix, it’s my jam. Documenting in a place you call home, where you create endless memories and are surrounded with personal belongings that will trigger so much nostalgia when looking back, gives me all the feels. \u00a0When my good friend Sarah asked if we could do a Mommy + Me and Maternity session at their bohemian bungalow in Cardiff, CA, my excitement shot through the roof. The exciting anticipation of their family growing into a “party of 4”, daughter, Willa, who is over-the-moon to become a “big sister,” and mommy, well, she is just adorable and glowing – we all knew it was the perfect time to document. These two styling babes certainly are the sweetest. \u00a0We split the session into two parts: <\/span><\/p>\n

1. LIFESTYLE: We got dolled up in our favorite dresses, hopped on the bed and these two were full of snuggles, kisses and tickle-wars. <\/span><\/p>\n

2. DAY IN THE LIFE: \u00a0Afterwords, we documented one of their favorite activities, baking cookies! We headed to the kitchen, got messy, and had a little mommy + me bonding time. (Blog post on Part 2 coming soon!)\u00a0<\/span>
